When you’re living intentionally you are affirming that you wish to live alignment with your soul this works very well with the Universe as it is the binding of the intentional thought that activates what we want from the Universe.
Activating intentions is a command of re-joining to Source, the use of the creative power to take place on your behalf. Intention becomes the driving force of your higher consciousness. Without an intention there is no map, or direction you’re just sailing in the wide expanse of the ocean with no compass.
That said, an intention cannot be forced. It’s a seed that you have to plant and then let grow on its own. You also can’t set an intention that you don’t believe in. If it’s done forcefully, the purpose of the intention is ruined.
Here are some tips of how to set your intentions…
1. Keep it Positive
Make sure your intentions are of a positive tone, if your intention is to de-stress, then affirm something like, “My intention is to invite peace and calm within myself during today’s meditation.
Your chosen intention should always be positive, uplifting, and always in the present tense. You want to refrain from using any negative words or bring up anything past tense.
2. Make Sure it can Evolve
Keep with it don’t give up on it happening bring your emotions to it, visualise it, feel it and let that feeling grow with it. If you were to plant a seed in the ground you wouldn’t be digging it up before it starts to show itself, trust it will grow leave it to evolve.
3. Use Meditation
Meditation is a powerful way to set an intention be sure to use it in while meditating. Start your meditation with a few deep breaths and observe the stillness within. Bring your awareness to your heart and set your intentions towards your desires.
4.Release and Let it Go
The best time to plant your intentions is during the period after meditation, while your awareness remains centred in the quiet field of all possibilities. After you set an intention, let it go — simply stop thinking about it. Continue this process for a few minutes after your meditation period each day.
5. Aim for the Short Term
Start off with short term rather than the long term. You can still think of the big picture — just divide your long-term intention into few shorter chunks instead. This will help you achieve your desired goals in shorter more powerful segments.
6. Detach from the Outcome
If you’re attached to the outcome to a specific result and your happiness depended on it happening this can destroy the intention as low vibrations such as uncertainty, fear and insecurity is obstructing the growth process.
Just Intend for everything to work out as it should, then let it go and allow all opportunities and openings to come your way. Otherwise you can easily change the vibration of the intention in the first place and you will no longer be a match to it manifesting.
7. Let the Universe Handle the Details
Your focused intentions set the infinite force power into motion the organising of the Universe in other words. Leave the details and the “HOW” to the Universe. Trust that infinite organising power to orchestrate the complete fulfilment of your desires. Don’t listen to the voice that says that you have to be in charge, or the obsessive control and interference we often have will only delay or destroy it.
Trust that the Universe will conspire to make things happen for you and exercise patience and gratitude.
